Choose the kind of review

Bilingual review compares source and translation for omissions and meaning. Proofreading checks the target text. Editing improves clarity and style. These are different scopes and should be agreed first.

Supply both versions

For an accuracy review, send the complete original and translation in editable form where possible. Include references, required names, a glossary and the intended readership.

Make changes traceable

Agree whether you want tracked changes, comments, a clean version or a terminology list. Flag passages where the source is ambiguous rather than silently changing the meaning.

Discuss certification separately

Review does not automatically turn an existing translation into a sworn translation. If a signature or stamp is needed, Odette must assess the original and agree the work required.
