Experience with specialist texts
Odette’s work has included legal contracts, valuation reports, forensic analysis reports, court judgments, laws and decrees. Her SDL / RWS role, from 2018 to April 2024, combined English–Arabic translation, review and quality control across legal, financial, IT and marketing content.
International project experience
Her CV lists work through SDL / RWS for organizations including Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Qatar Financial Centre, Latham & Watkins and White & Case. These are examples of her experience through the language-service provider, rather than endorsements or claims of direct independent contracts.
A useful project brief
Identify the intended reader, jurisdiction or market, required language direction and whether the text is for information, publication or official submission. Share approved terminology, previous translations and the source version that should be treated as final.
Discuss the review and delivery
Agree on the scope, timetable, editable file format and how terminology questions will be resolved. Tell Odette about any confidentiality or handling requirements before sharing files. Confirm separately whether your document needs sworn certification.
